HUGG Young Adult Support Groups – Info & Call for Volunteers

Hugg is a national suicide bereavement charity. They provide a free, non-judgemental, safe & confidential space where people bereaved by suicide can share their experiences and feelings and receive and offer support to each other.

They primarily run support groups, both online and in person, and these groups are facilitated by volunteers that have themselves been bereaved by suicide. They have recently launched an online young adult support group, which runs every second Tuesday evening.

Hugg have asked us to share the resources below with SU officers – they include a flyer for the support group, and a second flyer seeking volunteers to help facilitate the groups. We would appreciate if you could share these via social media. If you would like hard copies of them, please contact Sarah at mentalhealth@usi.ie and we can arrange to have them sent to you.
